Topic tags/keywords: northfield bandsaw

Hi everyone, I inherited a Northfield 36” HD band saw that my dad had to get out of his shop. She is a beauty and pretty much new, but I don’t think I will fully utilize her in the long term. My shop is too small. Is there anyone that would be interested in it let me know. Thanks. Darren

If I brought that home I would be sleeping in the shop.

That would do a custom lowering job on my pickup as well as my bank account, but I wish I had a shop to
put it in. Thank you for upping the drool factor here.

Yeah what those guys said. If I had the space for it I’d be all over it like a cheap suit!

Those saws are so heavy you may have a hard time finding a
buyer interested enough to give you a price you like and
in the hassle of moving it. I have seen 36” saws for sale for
months on Craigslist for $500 with no takers. That said,
ask on the forums because some of those
collectors have both the equipment and desire to acquire
and move such heavy machines.

Anyway, it’s a beauty to be sure.

I’d love to own it. I have the room for it. I could make good use of it.

Now the problem is the money. I’m positive, would bet money on it, that it cost way more than I could possibly afford.

I had a strange feeling that MedicKen might show up, on this one ;-)

Saw like that comes in real handy, when you have to cut down kitchen cabinets and stuff LOL !
