Hi,

I would be coming to USA, along with my wife, end of March 2012, for playing with my grand daughter (who would be turning 2 in April) for a few months.

I would be staying in Lakeland where my Son and DIL live. I would like to get in touch with LumberJocks based around Lakeland, Florida. I can be reached on kbbaktha@gmail.com

I would like to interact with other LumberJocks and share experiences with a view to learn some thing new, in woodworking.

I’m from Iowa and cannot provide you with any direct assistance on your quest. However, I would like to tell you that, at least for me, Lakeland, Florida in March is a very special place. Lakeland is the home for spring training for my favorite baseball team, the Detroit Tigers.

Through the month of March you can attend spring training baseball games in Lakeland. You may want to look into that.

I have hosted guests from Europe to baseball games in the past. I realize that baseball is a strange game to them, much like cricket is a strange game to me. Nonetheless, they enjoyed the experience. Ideally, you would have someone with you who could provide some insight as to what is going on.

I hope you enjoy your time in Florida. I’m sure you already know that you will be close to Disney World and other attractions.

Hello,
I am enriched by your response. It is true, base ball is absolutely new to me. I would catch up with some training sessions of Detroit Tigers, along with my son, who is in Florida, for the past 5 years, and who is a avid lover of baseball. We would definitely plan to cover Disney World & Miami and also St Augustine, where my son Teaches, Mathematics in a College.
I am sure, my visit to USA would be enriching in many ways. Thanks for your greetings and mail once again.

We used to live in Florida and we enjoyed most of the wonderful things it has to offer. Whenever someone tells me they are going to Florida for a visit I suggest they spend a day at the Kennedy Space Center tours in Cape Canaveral. To me, it is the single most fascinating attraction in Florida.
