Topic tags/keywords: box gift mads bridge city humor

After purchasing a couple of small Bridge City tools awhile ago, I had made a comment on this forum about the lack of the usual BC box, they arrived in a plastic bag.

Well, I was surprised to see a package in the mailbox from Mads a few weeks later…

And I laughed out loud when I saw what it was… he has made me a storage box for my tools, no more crying about the “baggie” they came in.

So I took it to my shop and set it aside to not lose it, got busy with a couple projects, and completely forgot about it!

Now it is assembled and as you can see, works very well for the intended purpose – Thanks again Mads for another “Original”!

So Mads is branching out into flat-pack projects now is he? Must be the Ikea influence. :-) Can I say Ikea on LJs?

Congrats Randy and nice one Mads.

I’ve seen a lot of people say Ikea on Lumberjocks, brit.
now if you say you’re buying furniture form there, we may have to beat you with a bag full of empty glue bottles.

Very nice.
Mads, I like the logo on it. Is that a special made iron you use to imprint that on the wood? If so, is there a source for them? Or did you make it yourself somehow?
All I’ve ever seen is the basic text or signature. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one like that.

Ho ho ho…
Ahhh so the box is now a reality, I am so pleased.
Yes I could not listen to the blog you made without reacting, since I agree that fine tools need good care.
Wrote BC tools and they were kind to tell me the measures of them so I could make you a box for them.
I am really happy to see they fit since this was my biggest worry.

The branding iron:

Thank you for the kind words.
Best thoughts my friend,
