Just finished two Carved Snakes.

One cane and one walking stick.

I’ve been out hunting curled sticks to make walking sticks and canes. I have found a great spot. In three days I’ve cut nearly 100 curled sticks.

Great fun when you’re finding them, real pain in the butt packing the sticks in bundles out of the woods.

Take a look on my web site or facebook http://www.facebook.com/KentuckyWalkingSticks

Wow they seem like they would be really tough to find. Very cool walking sticks.

Sooooooo, these sticks naturally grow this way?

I’ve seen people shape young trees as they grow. Done a few myself. Even have a little twist growing now.
I wrapped it around a dowel for a few years and I’ll probably cut it after it starts growing this year. So the bark will come off easily.

So these are natural? Never seen anything like that before. Very cool find…........
