Topic tags/keywords: nailers gripfast

Hello fellow LJs,
Menards has a big box of 4,000 GripFast finish nails (4 different sizes, 1,000 of each) on sale this weekend for $9.99. I’m actually looking for some so this is perfect but I can’t find any info online about the nails or even a website (other than menards of course). Has anyone had any experience with these nails? Are they reliable? Seems pretty cheap… I have a PC oil free finish nailer (forgot the model number). Thanks for any light anyone can shed on the topic.

Does the nail box tell you which nailers are compatible with those nails? IME, stick nails, brads, etc, are interchangable as long as the gauge is the same.

I’ve not held the box in hand (only looking at the ad) but its 16 gauge. Just trying to see if it’s worth making the trip and the nails are not a bust before I get out there.

Just wanted to follow up and say for anyone else looking to buy these in the future I went ahead and bought the box. Used successfully in my porter cable 250 finish nailer and am very happy with the results.
