Topic tags/keywords: craftsman club sale table saw planer

FYI, the Craftsman Club Sale starts today. It’s easy to sign up at the store to get the discount. I did that to get my jointer. You can sign up online to see the flyer with these sales advertised.

Their Ridgid Clone, #00921833, cast iron top, and built in mobile base on sale for $499

Their hybrid cab saw #00922116 with granite top, and Beis clone fence is $899.

Their higher end planer #00921748 which actually got good reviews from Fine Woodworking is on sale for $399.

Just FYI…

bullethead,

How much is the discount for club members?? The online Sears price right now is $854 on the granite top with no mention of craftsman club discount. Can you use the club member discount online?? I am looking at the granite top is that a good deal or not??

Look out for the shipping cost on line. I don’t think you can use the C-man club on line but I could be wrong.

Reg price for that saw is $1099. so $899 is usually as low as it goes in the store.

If on-line has free shipping for instore pick up then go for it!

These days that is a good deal and it’s a really good saw at that price. Some people do not like granite tops because they can’t hold magnetic feather boards, and may be prone to chipping.

The saw for $499 is a decent tool, that is functional and at that price a good value.

the HDs local to me have the 4512 for $499 everyday, and it’s eligible for the LSA. no LSA with the C-man cousin of the 4512. i’m just saying, same saw from two different sources, one can be covered for life and the other can’t. something to consider.

Great point toolie! I have not noted the price of the 4512 here, but if it’s 499 everyday, plus LSA, then that is great bang for the buck.
