02-01-2012 05:23 AM advise!
I was recently a victim of ATM “skimming” with my business account. I run a small transportation company, and only use my business visa to get fuel (at the pump usually), which makes this all the more troubling. Im just happy that my bank has such a good fraud prevention team.

ATM skimming in short- ANYWHERE you enter your credit/debit/fuel card can have a “skimmer”. The link above has some good information on it, or if you like …google it . It is a type of scanner(disguised) that is placed over where you would normaly enter your card. It makes a copy of your card that can then be used by youre friendly neighborhood con artist. Needless to say I will be giving a good “tug” to any card readers @ gas pumps I use in the future.
