For those of you who have the Contractor’s SS, what are the dimensions of the cabinet itself?

I have an old craftsman contractor’s saw, and eventually I want to get a SS. I’m curious if when I do that I’ll have to build a new mobile station for the SS or if I’ll be albe to keep using the one I have now…...

I think you should just buy the mobile base for a ss. I have one and it makes it very easy to move the very heavy saw. Its not that expensive considering how much the saw is.

Hope this helps,

Pages 80 and 81 of the manual have dimensioned drawings.

The footprint of the stand on the drawing is 25-3/4” wide by 27” deep.

The footprint of my saw cabinet without the stand (measured) is 18-3/8” wide by 19-5/8” deep

Hope this helps!
