Topic tags/keywords: candle holder hole size for candle

I am building and Arrow of Light for my sons cub scout pack. The Arrow of Light holds 7 candles, one for each virtue of a good scout.

Have any of you discovered a good hole size and shape for the 9” long taper candles?

I made a Menorah (a candle holder for Hanukkah), for my son.
I had the same question you did and did some checking….. there ain’t no such thing as a standardized candle!

I ended up using a step bit so that it would take any size of taper from 1/4” up to 1”.

Good Luck to ya!
