Topic tags/keywords: router bits whiteside

Other than my table saw, this it the last bit of powered tools I have left. I wasn’t going to sell them yet but I figured I since I haven’t used them in about 3 months, I guess now is better than ever. I want to sell them as a set but if I get no offers, I will consider selling them separately.

The router is used Porter Cable 1 3/4 hp 690LR but in great condition. It was used in a cheap little router table and has both 1/4” and 1/2” collets, arbor wrenches and hard case.

The router bits are all 1/2” shank whiteside bits. They are of course used but are also in great condition. The rabbet bit has the tiniest nick but it never bothered me to sharpen it out. All bearings, the washer, long screw, allen key, case and bearing size chart are included. All other bits are sharp and free of defect. I will give them a rub down with bit cleaner before shipping. The bits other than the rabbet set included:

3324 specialty moulding bit
2202 5/32” roman ogee
2006 1/4” roundover
1805 1/2” cove
1084 3/4” straight bit

Asking $225 shipped. I don’t remember what I paid so I took prices from Amazon (which is already less than I paid) and subtracted 35% and added $20 shipping. I take PayPal. If you have any questions or wish to see better photos, please feel free to ask. Thanks for looking.

I need a better router BAD. I might be able to at the end of the week if you haven’t sold it. I know we have a few router hoarders around here :P

I’m not in a rush so if no one snags it up by then, it’ll be yours.

Thanks, we’ll see what happens then. Jim, it’s a sickness I may end up with myself before long. Right now I just need good solid equipment to get started and do what I need to. My little Crapsman won’t accomodate the 1/2”bits that would actually be useful for me. This would definitely be a step in the right direction.
