Looking to buy new bandsaw. Thoughts on the top three choices? Probably 16” but would consider something better than my 14” griz. Update on reason for a new saw: not enough power, not enough resaw height, better dust collection, better quality and ease of maintenance/adjustments.

I have the Grizzly GO 513×2 and I love it.Cast Iron wheels, heavy duty cast iron fence, tall re-saw fence,2 hp,large table! It’s a lot more money but it is much more saw then the 14” not that the 14” inch is bad.

I have the same saw as Chipy and love it! It gets used to resaw 12” Hegdeapple and mesquite and then does double duty with an 1/8” blade as a fine curve cutter. 3 years old and no big problems yet. I definately think the ‘Extreme’ model is worth the extra$.

Are you geting the new saw becasue you want more table space or more height? Does your present saw have the spacer to give you more height? Big reason is WHY do you want a new saw? Then maybe people can help better
