does anyone have a problem sanding deft sanding sealer ? i cut it 25% and spray it with a hvlp spray gun from harbor freight . am i doing something wrong?

Easy answer to your question? Yep! Just quit usin’ a proprietary sanding sealer. Use a dewaxed shellac. It’ll do everything ya want without all the a$$aches that go with the other stuff, and is compatible with most finishes out there.
Anybody got a contrary thought?

I use deft sanding sealer in my spray equipment and sand it with sanding sponges. Sand it lightly and when the sponge loads up I blow air on it to clean it off. Tack cloth and put on next coat of finish. I use deft lacquer finish. I do not thin either deft product.
