I know Home Depot closed these out a couple of years ago, but I have just gotten back into woodworking and it seems to be the best deal going for a jointer, but I can’t find one anywhere (well, someone on Ebay is trying to sell some for like $900 each, good luck with that). Ideas on who might have one in stock? Its model JP0610 and I have looked everywhere I can think of. Called Ridgid and just got put on hold hell. There is a Ridgid outlet about 3 hours away that says they get them, but few and far between and can be had for pretty cheap when they do.

You’re right Kenny, I did a quick search and could not find anyone selling them.

I think it is a nice jointer for it’s size and was for me half the price of many others and had the same features.

I’ve noticed that Ridgid has discontinued some of their tools the last few years. I once had my heart set on a Ridgid scroll saw I seen in a magazine article, only to find out they no longer made it.

I called the nearest HD and they said they could still order them for $429. Over $100 more than the place that is out of them, I may just wait a few days to see if they get any in soon, if I not I may have to go that route. I have access (although a bit unhandy) to one so I am not in a huge rush.

They are all gone from the HD’s around my area too, along with the drill press and maybe a few others. HD doesn’t even have a SKU in their book. The guys couldn’t give me a reason why other than speculation that a new line was coming.
I’m told the Horror Freight 6” jointer is a diamond in the rough, better quality than most of their stuff and only 300 bucks. If you find a coupon and can get it on sale you can knock than down below $250.
