Hi, does anyone out there have a Powermatic 1632 thickness sander that has the belt coming completely off all the time?
I have spent 3 hours trying to get it to work but have given up…
Thanks,
Darren665

SANDING BELT TRACKING & OSCILLATION
The tracking and oscillation of your sander are pre- adjusted at the factory. However, should adjustment be required, do the following:
1. Adjust the air valve (A), Figure 3, to control the tracking sensitivity.
2. The oscillation speed can be controlled by adjusting the top air valve (B).
3. Empty the glass container© as needed.

Go to powermatic to look at manual. I cant copy the pic.

Thanks for that, yes I saw the steps that you are mentioning in the manual and I still could not get it to go, or at least I am not interpreting the manual correctly. I think I will try and get someone at Powermatic to talk me through it. Appreciate your input.
