Fine Woodworking did a fairly recent test, and they concluded that the best unit AND best value was the Jet AFS-1000B.

May want to look into that one, too.

They’re also not hard to make. LOTS of LumberJocks (including me) have made one version or another.

I’ve got one, had it for a while now, and am very happy with it…

Not sure what FWW review said about it as I haven’t seen the review, but I know the Jet comes in around $400.00 ish to your door… Kind of spendy…
