Hi folks,

I wanted to introduce myself and say hello, but I’m not sure if this is the forum where I should do so. Please correct me if this needs to be placed elsewhere.

Todd is the name. Woodworking is my hobby and I make my living as a paramedic and EMS (Emergency Medical Services) educator. Before I worked as a paramedic and EMS educator I ran a hardwood flooring business with my Dad for about 12 years, so I do have some professional experience in a woodworking trade. As many of you are well aware, the woodworing bug is one that simply keeps on biting, so it will be forever in my blood.

I’m new to the forums and look forward to learning from and asking questions of members. I have been extremely impressed with everything that the forums have to offer. There are some talented people on Lumberjocks!!!!!

Best wishes, and happy New Year to everyone.

Hi Todd, welcome to LJs. If you don’t mind my asking, where do you teach? My kid wants to study to be EMS.

Welcom Todd. How much of that left over flooring do you have laying around? Your correct in this is a great place to learn.

Nice hearing from all of you, and thanks for the many welcomes. I figured I would spend a little time tonight in the forums, and then try out my new 1/2” upcut spiral.
