Topic tags/keywords: question scroll saw bladesbook

Ok, I bought a Dremel 16” scroll saw (Model 1672) and I need blades, but since I also need an instruction book I don’t know which blades will work on it. The 7” I bought at Ace Hardware are too long; or so it seems and since I don’t have the book am lost, could use your help finding both.

did you losen the tensioner at the back of the upper arm? This will let the tension off so you can install a new blade.

fill out this form send it to dremel and they will send you the instruction book…. http://www.dremel.com/en-us/customerservice/ManualsAndLiterature/Pages/LiteratureRequest.aspx

I did a quick search and everything pointed back to calling dremel customer service people or requesting the user guide hope this helps

I found this link that is the instruction manual for Dremel’s 18” saw. May have what you need.

I don’t know off hand what blades I use but I just go into Rona and grab packages of scroll saw blades and they work fine. At first I thought I could only use Dremel blades.
