I was at a antique store and they had a saw vice there. The only markings I found was a 5 stamped on it up where u clamp the saw. Was wondering how much they usually are because I’ve just getting into woodworking and working with hand tools is something also new. Ever since I got my grandpas old Stanley #5 plane I’ve enjoyed hand tools. Any help would be appreciated.

Anywhere from free to $20 if they don’t know what they’ve got… I paid $15 for mine (only a “5” on it, too) because the flea mkt guy was tired of lugging it around everywhere. Good luck!
