Charles,

Those are some nice looking saws that you have to play with. What brand are they?

Very nice. For now I’m trying to do everything with one saw (my ryoba) while I have a Crown backsaw and an ol’ Stanley piece of junk sitting on the bench. If I get more saws, they’ll probably be more Japanese ones.

Great saws. I just found a pair of saws, one crosscut and one rip, and am looking forward to sharpening them so I can make use of them. It’s funny how when I was a kid, I learned to cut with them then, somewhere along the way, I left them behind for the power tools. Now, I’m beginning to develop an appreciation for them and what I can do with them. -SST
