I have an old Rockwell Delta 14” bandsaw that I bought used awhile ago. It has newer looking tires. They are orange in color, but too soft to be urethane. I think they are neoprene.

They are relatively easy to take on and off and are not glued. Should they be glued?

Rubber tires need to be glued. I have orange eurathane and they did not need to be glued. If you have to “boil” them or really stretch them to get them on then they will shrink up and should not need to be glued.

Have your say...
