I’ll start by saying that I know this is a long shot…..

I’ve found that many of the different branded tools are actually produced by the same manufacturer in Taiwan and that they are very similar in design and look as if they even share parts.

I like the way the dust chute on the G0505 mounts with foam gaskets and side ejects….

and it’s pretty inexpensive, compared to the Delta 50-539 chute, which gets mixed reviews (mostly for being somewhat flimsy).

Has anyone tried to mount the Grizzly chute to an older Delta 22-540 planer?

The two planers look really similar…. especially when you compare the exploded parts diagrams.

Thanks in advance.

Why not ask Grizzly themselves, if it would work or could be slightly modified? I’d guess they got people to answer just such questions, if not they should.

Have your say...
