This vise’s chain drive system ensures that the jaws stay parallel, eliminating the racking common in other vises. It operates from either side, and a spring loaded lock pin disengages the chain for controlled skewing to equalize pressure on slightly out-of-square work. This vise is an easy retrofit to an existing bench, requiring only an end cap drilled for the vise nut & fixing bolts, plus the vise jaw itself. A chain cover lets you set the spindles from 11” to 20” apart. Enough chain is included for 16” spacing, adequate for benches up to 32” wide. Two vise screws with handles & speed cranks, nuts, chain cover & installation hardware are included with instructions. Maximum jaw opening is 12”. Wooden jaw liners are not included.
It was purchased a few years ago, but never installed… Wooden handles are still in their bag, as is the chain…
This beautiful vise can be yours for $200, shipped to your door…
I prefer PayPal but will consider a check or PMO…
