Earlier this week I PMed several LJ members asking for assistance. This has evidently upset the sensibilities of some members.
I’m sorry for any upset I caused anybody. That was not my intention.
It probably would have been better to post a request in the coffee lounge and if it was deemed unacceptable the moderator would have deleted it and informed me that it was against LJ protocol. Unfortunately I didn’t think of that at the time.
Unlike spammers, I wasn’t trying to separate anybody from their money. I was simply asking for help from what I assumed were like minded people.
Well, you know what they say about assume.
I guess I’ll have to rethink my signature line because I sure do look stupid right now.

Hey Rick,

No problem, the administration handled this well and you have responded as a gentleman admitting the mistake.

Now we move on. :))

Hi Rick,

No problemo.

I have already forgotten about it. Don’t sweat it.

Uh-oh, I was wondering about that! ;-) Thanks for the post.

Everyone here seems to be a good bunch so I’m sure all will be forgiven.

Rickbuddy, all’s OK by me. I did wonder about it when I rec’d the PM, but I did go to the site, and seeing some of the other slogans that were being considered actually made me decide to vote for yours. Even though this may have not been the most appropriate way to handle, I hope yours wins.

No problem man… I thought yours was the best…
