Topic tags/keywords: burner

I see this burner advertised often on the right side of the Pulse page quite often. They have a lot of glowing reviews and endorsements but, I have always given higher credibility to the opinions of other LJ’s over what is found on some web sites.

We have had burn bans due to a severe drought here in Central Texas and this may solve a few problems for burning.

Has anyone out there bought one? They are pretty expensive but, are built from stainless so should last a long time. Looking for some feedback.

Thanks

Will it absolutely prevent flyaway sparks? I should think that would be an issue in TX.

Maybe outdoor burning is something that might best wait for a while yet?

From a legal liability perspective it almost goes without saying that if you have an out-of-doors burn going, no matter how high the quality and spendy the device in which you burn – if god forbid some one down wind of you gets a fire the possibility that you’ll be blamed is high.

Just sayin.

CR1;

That is why I was wondering if any of our LJ friends had bought / used one of these? The seller’s web site indicates that several local jurisdictions had approved them during burn bans but, that was their site and who know if the testimonials are real? As I said in my original post, I value the opinion of LJ’s over “reviews” on the seller’s site.

Thanks
