Trestle table design help

I’ve been messing around in Sketchup trying to draw a trestle table and I’m having trouble getting the proportions right. The feet either look huge or way too small to go with the uprights or worse, keep the table from tipping over. I’ve seen some really nice pics of trestles built by Jocks in the projects section, can somebody nudge me in the right direction and post up their dimensions – specifically uprights and top and bottom supports?

Don Johnson home \| projects \| blog 536 posts in 947 days #2 posted 495 days ago	ALternatively, in Sketchup, go to File/3D Warehouse/Get Models and do a search for ‘Trestle Table’. I got 38 results – perhaps one of those will suit you, either ‘as is’ or with some modifications. If you create a nice revised design, you could upload it to 3D Warehouse for someone else to use – but you have to register (free) to do that. -- Don, Somerset UK, http://www.donjohnson24.co.uk
JPB home \| projects \| blog 31 posts in 696 days #3 posted 493 days ago	Well, I continued to mess with things, and look at some others (not sure why it never dawned on my to check 3D Warehouse) and came up with this. Not sure about the little stub feet. What do you guys think?
