thank you gary for this kind offer
i don’t generally ask for help for myself

believing that God takes care of His own

my problems are no different than everyone elses
in our world today
and in this political and social climate

not enough work
not enough money

when i lost my truck
it was rivergirl that asked for help
and i did accept it then from all the LJ’s that sent it

that was a special event
as i was stranded and far from home

now i have been safe here
but silent for some time
grieving the loss of my sister
and dealing with her daughter
in her grief

i will soon win the $10 million
that publishers clearing house has for me
(they send me notices every day)

so things will be better soon

thank you all for your concern
when i get the check
we can all have lunch
and a good laugh
and maybe buy some new tools

bless you all
and thanks again gary

you are special

Some of us still want to help, David. You know….”Do unto others” is a pretty good rule. And it doesn’t say do it only once and not again…...

Hi David!

Hope your health, back, etc. is GOOD!

Sounds like your 10 mil check is just a week or so away!
... I think I will wait… LOL … kidding…

Hope you had as good a Christmas & New Years as you could… Hope this year will be better than last!

Take care…

cr1, you never miss an opportunity to peddle your ideological wares, even at the expense of a long-time LJ member in need. Classy…

CR to me it is simple – if recurring need happened – and the mood didn’t fit – decide not to help a “second” just as we can decide whether to help the first time.

There just are no guarantees either way – just a matter of faith and following your heart and deciding what you personally are willing to do.

I really think CR1 has a point… if you think about it…

The objective is to help get Patron back on the Internet.

Let’s say we want to help pay for it for a Year…

How much would that be?

Whatever that figure is, let’s say add 10% & round to up to even $5… and THAT would be the Target Figure.

I don’t think we would want to donate 2, 3, etc. times more than that…

I really think there should be a Target Figure… Once reached, we’re informed that it has been reached.

If anyone wants to continue, it’s up to them.

We all have an obligation to help our fellow man in this life. Unfortunately David is in the same boat as so many of us are with this economy today. There is nothing wrong in asking for help as there are those that may be in a position to help without hurting themselves in the process.

In defense of CR1, he raises a valid point in his concern. Money isn’t always the answer to a need and we may need to search for alternative solutions to a problem. Unfortunately for David he lives in and area where satellite is probably his only option for internet and TV.

David, I can only offer you at this time my moral support and prayers for your situation to improve.

Gary, Thanks for standing up for your fellow man who has a need.

To those you who may be in a position to help out in a need, bless you.

For those wanting to help keep Patron’s internet service active you can send a few bucks his way using PayPal.
The email you send payment to is allheartojo@dishmail.net

I can understand what CR1 is saying, Give the guy enough to last a year of service not just a months worth.
Gary I will send you a PM
