Topic tags/keywords: question turning lathe

I was wondering if eny body could help me out with a list of tools and equipment I may need for turning boxes and bowls. I don’t have that big of a lathe so the trunings will be small. And my wallet isent to full so if eny of the tools or equipment needed could be made out of wood that would be a big help. thanks for lookin.

You could make your own carbide tipped turning tools.
All the bowls that I have posted on lumberjocks were turned using a shopsmith and some shop made turning tools.
