Some months back I emailed Lenny about a posting he had for a custom out feed table (http://lumberjocks.com/projects/25482) he had made for his Powermatic TS. To my amazement, Lenny was willing to GIVE me the table if I were ever in his area. Fortunately for me, my company has a site in Worcester, MA and the manager was willing to travel to RI to pick up the table.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Lenny for his generosity. We are fortunate to have Lumberjocks such as Lenny that promotes all that is good in woodworking.

Here are a couple of pictures after I got it mounted to my PM2000. I used Minwax’s water based polycrylic finish on all the surfaces.

I am happy it found such a fitting new home. As I mentioned, it was just sitting in my shop taking up space so, it’s good to see it back in use again. It’s also nice to see you applied a nice finish to it…something I never got around to doing. To think, this was a kitchen butcher block table my neighbor put out for trash collection. Had it made it to the dump, it would be taking up space at the landfill. Instead it was re-purposed to functional workshop equipment for (so far) two people.
