Topic tags/keywords: bog oak question resource tip oak

I have recieved some bog oak and was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas on how to work with it.
It seems to be very crumbly.

but it burns like coal!
Dont like the idea of that though.

You might try treating it with Minwax Wood Hardner or PC Petrifier to stabilize it.
