Topic tags/keywords: planes two weeks ago I was taking a drive to buy a used table saw and I passed a Flee market and made a note to stop by on the way back as you never know what you might find. I got lucky. I bought a Sargent #4 and a Sargent 208 block plane. Today I went to another flee market and got lucky again (Stanley Bailey #5). These planes are in great shape and drew a good shaveing without adjustment or sharpening with exception of the #4 which has a chip in the blade. -- bryano |

I’m always looking for treasures at flea markets and auctions, regrettable there are a lot of people around my area who buy up these fine tools just to display on their walls, and never intend to use them, but I get lucky every now and then. -- Joey~~Sabina, Ohio http://sleepydogwoodworking.blogspot.com/ |
