I have a grizzly table saw, the full cabinet kind with the cast iron router extension, what router should I buy for this table?

Thanks for your help

I’d get at least 11 amps, preferably 15, variable speed, and 1/2” collet. The Milwaukee 5625 is a beast in a table, and the Freud FT3000 and Triton routers have excellent above table features.

IMHO, it’s better to focus on getting the best router for the task, then worry about fitting that one to your Griz router table using a modified subplate if necessary.

All Triton routers have their OWN lifting mechanism and that fact alone can save you anywhere from just under $200 to over $400 JUST FOR THE LIFT is you choose other router brands. You can buy either the 2 1/4hp or the 3 1/4hp Triton routers under $200 all day long. My 2-cents…

I have the 3 1/4hp Triton under MY Grizzly:
