Has anyone had trouble having their posts “pcik up” or “take” when they are working off their Ipads? It seems the last two posts I’ve made while working on my Ipad did to actually get posted. I usually get on lumberjocks on my laptop, but occassionally use the Ipad but that seems to not work so good for posting. Is there an interface problem or is it a user problem?

Thanks

Since no iPad users have answered, I will chime in to say that I have posted from my iPod touch without any problem, and from what I have seen it is pretty much the same browser and user interface. But that was a couple of years ago, and a lot has changed both on this site and in the iOS since then.

I have an ipad and I have had no problems posting. I only post from my ipad occasionally because I prefer using a real keyboard but when I have done it, I have had no problems.

FYI – I have never uploaded a picture with the ipad and probably never will.

Thanks guys. It’s probably user issues.

It happens on my iPad from time to time.

I haven’t had any problems posting text and I’ve been using only my iPad2 for the last couple months. The one thing I can’t figure out is how to post pics with it. When I go to upload a pic the “choose file” button isn’t highlighted, so I can’t select a pic to post. I guess I’ll have to wait til the laptop is fixed unless someone knows the answer.

Dlow- you are right about the lack of “choose file” option. Photobucket app on the iphone and pad let you paste the direct url of the pic within your post… Very easy to do…

I know this thread is a bit dated, but I have not had any issues posting with the iPad, although I have not tried to post photos when using it. I either use the Mac or PC laptop when posting things involving photos.

I use my iPad for majority of my posts and reading others with no problems.

(Was hoping it would filter out the political crap and a couple of the loons on this site but, unfortunately that’s too big a miracle even for Apple.)

I’ll have to download the photobucket app, as I have been unable to post pics from my iPad

I have an older ipad w/o camera, so I take pics w/ the phone (posting directly to the web via photobucket’s interface). Once that’s done, I can collect the url then and post to LJs or access photobucket later, from the ipad, to post. Best thing is the app is free…

Thanks for the tip. I’ll be gating that app.
