CT LJ’s heres a more affordable cl alert … it appears to be a #78 clone, both depth adjustments appear to be there.

It’s a Craftsman. I’d pass.

Aha .. thanks for the info Bertha. I knew it didnt look like a Stanley but wasnt sure who the manufacturer was.

It’s got the parts on it. If you need one of those planes, it’s
not a bad deal, imo. Not collectible but certainly functional.

The circular scribe/spur is the only item that makes this Craftsman better than the Stanley.

Not an investment plane, but the old Craftsman stuff wasn’t bad. Same as the old C’man tools. May need some tuning, but could be a user.
The new stuff is crap (my opinion).
