…is the anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven, in Bonn, in 1770.

For me, Beethoven is, was, and always will be, a great inspiration.
When I’m sad – I listen to Beethoven.
When I’m happy – I listen to Beethoven.
When I’m sick – I listen to Beethoven.
When I’m angry – I listen to Beethoven.
His music never fails to lift me from this world to a higher place.

Here is a piece with which you may not be familiar.
I was going to say “little known”, but, seeing as how this was sent out into the deep reaches of the universe on the 1977 Voyager space rockets, I expect little green men, women, and children, throughout the universe are, even as you read this, saying, ”oh wow man, play that again”.

Cavatina from Opus 130 played by the Lindsay String Quartet.

Sublime!
