There’s a million references and sites for sharpening flage blades. Easy information to come by, and I’m fairly decent at it, even without a leather strop.

My question is if anyone knows a good source of information on sharpening the rounded blades? I know where to find slip stones and all, but without proper knowlledge on how to use them I doubt it’d do me much good.

I had an old timer offer to show me how to do this one time, but he got to sharpening all my chisels before I could get back from installing a job to learn :/

Google “Sharpening a Gouge” and “Sharpening skews” you’ll get a lot of hits and Google “gouge sharpening stone”

Yay an answer! Mayhaps I just searched the wrong word combo :/
