Hello all, Im new to posting things but I would like to start. For Christmas I know Im getting a new shop vac, and Rockler’s Dust Right Vortex and would like to put them to work. For my girlfriends birthday and Christmas gifts this year I have bought her alot of jewelry. A necklace, charm bracalet, anklet, several earrings, and she has a collection of her own. She has a jewelry box that she bought herself. I would like to make her a jewelry box or an armoire. But im not sure on a design. She likes dark woods or dark stained wood. I was thinking of having her first and middle named etched in a mirror that be on the box or armoire or have her name engraved in the lid. If its a box, not an armoire, id like it to be tall enough so that her necklaces can hang and wont have to be bunched up. Any ideas on how anyone else would approch this project or how they would do it? Any places I could get the hardware for this project?

You can get the hardware for whatever type you decide at rockler or woodcraft. You may try a search on this site for jewelry box and see if something inspires you. Good luck.
