Hi I have a wall mount type of extractor and I am thinking of fitting it up in the unused inspection pit in my garage, has anyone done this and are there any potential hazards, the pit is 1meter wide and 3 long by 1.5 deep accessed by steps , all thoughts /tips welcome,thanks for reading

Don’t have many garages with inspection pits in the US anymore. I wouldn’t think it would cause any problems. It sounds like a good use of an unused space. Can’t think of anything else that would work better in the pit than your dust collector. Just be sure to leave an opening for the return air, if you have a door that covers it.
