If I want to finish the edge of a table top what recommendations might the forum have?

- hand finish with sandpaper or scraper?

- finish with a router?

- if using a router how do you handle the corner without tearout?

Thoughts/comments/suggestions would be most welcome.

Thanks,

Phil Stevens

Assuming you are talking solid wood, router the edge. Do the ends first(crossgrain). Then sand lightly by hand.
