OK….. I have kinda been bitten by the Cutting Board bug. I really enjoy making them but have only made long grain cutting boards. I would like to try to get into the end grain boards though and really don’t know how to make the plunge. I have been researching a little bit on here but not a whole lot. In general, do end grain cutting boards require more lumber to build than long grain boards?

Also, if anyone could point me to some reading (with pics) on how to go about making these I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Tyson

Check out “The Wood Whisperer’s” video on how to make an end grain cutting board. It’s a great instructional video.
