Just received this in an email from Delta tools

If you’ve visited in the last few months, you’ve noticed quite a few changes. A new website and a transition in ownership from Black and Decker to us standing on our own again in Anderson, SC. These are just a few of the many exciting things taking place here at DELTA Power Equipment Corporation and we wanted to share them with you!

To give you an idea of how we’re reshaping and retooling the DELTA brand to better serve YOU, check out our video of the Anderson, SC facility where we are making the Unisaw┬« from start to finish here in the good ole’ USA!

I find this to be a good thing as I can’t stand black and decker. and any new American manufacturing or production is a step in the right direction for this nation.

They/ve been bought and sold so many times in the last few years that it’s hard to tell who they are anymore. It sure would be nice if they can get back to making just high quality tools in the future and stay away from the low end junk they’ve been making in recent years.

I’m glad to here it. I have a few older Delta machines and love the quality. If only the other big name brands would follow suit it would be a huge step in the right direction.

B&D may have found manufacturing American-style iron machinery is
not their forte.

Delta was sold to a Taiwanese company but will retain plants in the USA.
