Intrigued by the corner drawers. I don’t think I have ever seen anything like it. There are lots of ideas out there for that dead space on an inside corner. This idea has more than a little merit.
I don’t like the storage under the tub.
I really like the folding bench seat. I think that would be an awesome and durable camp seat. Not as light as those cheap tube and nylon camp chairs, but I think they would easily out last them.

I’ve never understood just why people build lazy susans and don’t just go with the style above. Who cares if there is some dead space. The lazy susans quickly get clunky and really aren’t that efficient a use of space either.
I do like the tub idea, that is actually a decent use of dead space.

the Bench is deffently a new classic …..I´ll bett we are going to see a more than a few versions
here on L J :-)

the bathtop idea wuold be very nice to have in a small bathroom without other possibillity´s for storage

the kitchencorner .. naa … I prefer the one where the first half of the shelfs goes out together with the door and the second half slide forward to the place the first half had when you open the closet
that one has no dead space :-)

but thank´s for sharing …. keep let them come :-)

Dennis

I love all of the ideas.

The bathtub one – has everything handy.
Dennis – I saw one of those that you describe. Very cool!!!

I like the corner drawers – just because they are so unique :)

The corner drawers can actually be done so that there is no more dead space than any other kitchen cabinets. All you have to do is to isolate only the area where the drawers will be in the corner and put a panel on each side of where the drawers are at a forty five degree angle. This gives you back the area that may be lost otherwise, even if it does go way back under the cabinet at an angle. Then, build the drawers so that they come to a forty five degree point at the rear and extend out close to the back corner of the cabinet. With this way, I cannot see where there’s be no more dead space than in the cabinets in my kitchen right now.
I like the tub idea. However, I can’t tell from the photo, but I’d be sure to build protective panels around the plumbing in there. If not, I can see someone shoving something under there and busting a pipe on on the drain or water supply.
I’ve seen the tea kettle stand idea on an old antique piece from around the 1940s.

The corner drawers are really cool. Might have to try this the next time I remodel my kitchen.

Thanks for posting.

Hey man, those are awesome!! I have three drawers like the first one, only mine are flat across the front. I did it to use the space under the far corner of my work shop. I should post it! Thanks for the ideas!.......Jim
