Is there an easy way to get to the end of the 6,000 posts?

I think, read some of it once. Next time you look at it, you’ll go to the end.

Of course, there’s 6k of handplane goodness you’d be missing…

you will notice the URL at the top of your screen (it should look something like this:

http://lumberjocks.com/topics/32449) you can change the number to any number and it will take you to that post. In a similar fashion the URL http://lumberjocks.com/projects/56842 will take you to Julie’s post but you can substitute any project number (e.g 6 001) and it will take you to that project post.

HTH,

Mark

I spent a week and just read through the whole dang thing. However, it was only about 3,000 posts long. So spend two weeks on it—you’ll enjoy it. :-)

I really wish there were better ways to navigate the forums. This wasn’t a big issue before the existence of these mega-threads, but it’s really hard to find a specific post quickly when it’s buried in a long thread.

The Cult of Ryhkeneseology says” you must pass the seven planes of self awareness , pass the river of the four winds, decend into the underverse of trans-plane , pass the honeing rocks , through the shaving caves , emerge in the frog trail , up the winding canyon of levelty , reaching the precipice…and then jump off . That’s the only way.”

Moment. That is hands down your best picture post.

Tim, if you feel like hopping on that thread with a question by all means do so. Slightly out of context should not matter to much. (in other words come to the compound the water is great)
