I plan on building a router planer just wondering which bit I should use for this?

What exactly do you mean by a router planer? A router sled to plane stock flat? Or a router jointer? Or something else?

I used something similar to what loren posted about 1 1/2”.
But if I were to buy another one I would get the one Gene suggested.
