There’s probably an easy way to do this, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to jump to the last entry for a posted topic without using the “show next 30 replies” button. This can be a pain when there’s hundreds or thousands of replies and you want to get to the end. Is there a way to specify which reply to view? Thanks for any help!

Hello, you only see first 30 replies when you first visit the thread because you are visiting it for the first time. Once you refresh the page – same as ‘when you read it again’ – it goes to the last 30 replies because the system knows that you visited it before and hence it assumes that you want to go straight to the last 30 replies instead of reading it from the beginning again.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Jonathan and Martin. I guess there’s no way to go to a specific reply, though(?). Sometimes later in a thread someone refers to a reply made earlier and I ‘d like to read it. I suppose at that point i have to use the “show previous 30 replies” button to navigate backwards?

Yes, it’s technically impossible to load all replies every time. Especially on long threads.
