Nice tool. Something we’d all like to upgrade to. It should provide a lifetime of service and hopefully flat wood!

Being of Franco-American heritage I can appreciate and be amused at your use of the combination of the two languages.

Enjoy your jointer!

I could sit and listen to you talk all day i love french but i sucked at it not easy to master so i didnt but i do love it

Nice jointer what did you have before I assume a 6 inch jointer I don’t have any laguna tools i guess i thought they were a little pricy but it is very nice you should be very happy I just got a new to me jointer a powermatic 54a i decided against the helical head at this time too many bad reviews it is an upgrade i can do if i choose but several magazines say the old knives leave a smoother finish I don’t know if it is true id love to have the other head to see if i like it more

I was wondering how you selected Laguna for you jointer purchase?I don’t mean to be rude or give you a hard time but I glanced at some of your videos and I’m glad you are able to buy these tools but are all of your videos just of you opening boxes of tools?

@ a1Jim: I don’t mean to be rude or give you a hard timebut look to all my vidoes… The maine goal is to have fun with my kids (the cameraman) & Does the tool do what it is suppost to do. I do not wanna copy http://thewoodwhisperer.com/ that do a wonderful job or http://www.woodworkingformeremortals.com/ that do a wonderful job. I work full time has a project manager for TELUS so woodworking is a hobby. Yes I can buy expensive tool & I am very bless, I know, & to have The Wife that let me buy those tools is a more appreciated blessing… Sometime I get money from little job(mainly cabinet pannels) so I take that money to buy tools Now why Laguna: ony one word: ShearTec II the best cutterhead on the market. Hope it answer your questions

I’m glad you can have fun with your children making videos .You are certainly entitled to do anything you like , I just couldn’t figure out if your videos were meant as a review or an advertisement or ?. I did watch a few of the videos trying to figure it out. I hadn’t seen any reviews on Laguna’s jointers before and wondered what they had that other jointers did not have. I was not questioning why you could afford so many tools ,I would never do that. I have a good amount of tools also an no one has asked about how I could afford them,if they did I would tell them it’s none of their business. I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season.

:)

the full jointer review is to come & probably the planer too.
Until then , you could give a look to Laguna planer

& after ending my home improvement (many videos about it) & making some order in my shop then maybe I will start to do some “reel woodworking”
LOL
You know what I like the most about wood working: I have such a stressful job so when you woodworking you need all your attention of what you are doing (Fingers do not grow back) so that keep me to go insane
