Thanks guys.
lew, that cup is oak and maple. Oak is nasty stuff to turn. It splinters real easy and a catch can blow out a big chunk of it quickly. I think I sharpened the scraper about 6 times getting it hollowed out.
The mahogany bowl was easier but it is so dry that the dust went everywhere.
