On October 3rd I sent a nice Simond and a pre 1900 Bishop handsaw to Wenzloff and Sons for sharpening. I phoned and Mike who seemed like a very nice guy said they would get right on it as time was available and he did receive them. Heck I even sent more than enough cash to cover the job and shipping. Now no one answers the phone. No one answers the message I left. Now the mailbox is full. No response to Email. I just want my saws back. I heard he may have health problems. Certainly hope all is well. I don’t want to bad mouth anyone because I don’t know the situation other than I am without my saws. But if all is well you know how I feel. Anyone know anything?

RivRk – have you heard anything? I’m interested in purchasing a Harvey Peace panel saw, but ALL saws are out of stock.

They have a wonderful reputation but sometimes something like sickness and other disasters can move in and devistate a small business. Hopefully this hasn’t happened and you can get your saws back. Hopefully, it’s only temporary situation.

No, I have not heard anything. Since the name is Wenzloff and Sons I assume there are at least 2 sons in the business with dad and someone of the three could could respond in 4 1/2 months, if nothing else just tell me there are problems and I will be addressed later. As of now the Attorney General’s office of South Carolina and Oregon are assisting and hoping for resolution before the Federal Trade Commission is involved.

Have your say...
