I am making a loft bed with shelves underneath the one end. My question is how should I attach the loft bed to the top of the shelves. This is my first time doing this so I am not sure how to do it. Any advice would help. Thanks in advance.

I made a few lofts for college and I put steps at one end to climb up on. I dadoed the steps into the posts. You might be able to do that for the shelves too, on one end and then put posts on the other end. Or you could build a frame for the shelves and install it as a separate unit,
