Great story. Sometimes the young folks surprise you. Just when you think they’re not paying attention they go and do something like this. -- Working at Woodworking http://www.VillageLaneFurniture.com |

oh so what your calling me a lost cause! ya i see how it is! LOL. it seems like teenagers are a lost cause i’ll agree with you. there are so many bad ones and they make the news and make all teens look bad. you’d be surprised with how teenagers can be, some of them at least. |

You are absolutely right TWW. They’re out there, just seem harder to find these days. When I first heard this story, it was reported that it was a high school girls softball team. Then I read this article and noticed that it was a college “woman’s” team. More like young adults than teenagers. I’ll give you credit, teenagewoodworker, you present yourself to be more grown up than some of us old folks on here. |

It’s great to see young people getting involved in something besides computer games. -- I've been blessed with a father who liked to tinker in wood, and a wife who lets me tinker in wood. Southern Delaware karson_morrison@bigfoot.com † |

My bosses son will come down to the shop and help out. The other son MIGHT stroll around in his t-shirt, sweat pants and flip-flops and watch until he’s so bored he’ll go take a nap. I’m not sold yet. -- arborial reconfiguration specialist |

Hang in there Catspaw…. Don’t give up yet. Maybe the “other son” just isn’t in to that kind of thing. Being different isn’t always a bad thing. |

My so talented wife has three kiids. The youngest boy has a heart of gold, good mechanical mind and is generous to a fault. The oldest two teenagers sleep till 2:30 pm, watch TV till dinner is ready, dont cook, dont clean, dont really do anything unless there is something in it for “them”. They are absolutly confused as to what a “right” is vs a “privilage”.................so I bought 2 roosters. I take the roosters by the legs and throw them up the roofs which underlies their bedroom windows where the roosters”cock a doodle doo”..........and get their lazy buts up. -- "Good artists borrow, great artists steal”…..Picasso |
