Hi folks!

I’m a new aspiring woodworker. I was raised on those great PBS wood shows (you know the ones), and always had an interest, but never the true inspiration…Until recently. I built a stand for my 75 gallon aquarium. I probably over-built it!
I’ve been slowly collecting tools, and my last buy was a router. I’m in the process of building the doors for the stand mentioned above, so i’ve been looking around at different sites, collecting information.
I don’t exactly remember how i came across this site, but I love forums! So far I’ve really enjoyed the reading here, and look forward to many more hours (days) spent reading the topics.

So, i just wanted to say Hi!

A big Hi right back at ya and glad you found us. I was in a similar boat as you when I stumbled across Lumber Jocks almost two years ago. I couldn’t cut a straight line to save my life and couldn’t tell you the difference between a rabbit, box, or dovetail joint to save my life….lol. Its amazing how much a person can learn within the pages of this site.

Kick back and make yourself comfortable…. This place is addictive…

Welcome to Lumber Jocks!
